ITEMS WE CANNOT MOVE
At Envelop by McClain, your safety and peace of mind are our top priorities. To ensure a
smooth and compliant move, please review the list below of items we cannot transport due to
federal regulations, safety risks, or liability concerns.
Hazardous Materials:
Due to federal law (49 CFR), we are not permitted to move flammable, explosive, or otherwise dangerous items, including:
● Gasoline, propane tanks, kerosene
● Paints, stains, and paint thinners
● Aerosol cans (e.g., bug spray, hairspray)
● Fireworks or lighters
● Ammunition or explosives
● Household chemicals (bleach, ammonia, drain cleaners)
● Fertilizers, pesticides, and weed killers
Perishable Items:
To avoid spoilage, odor, or infestation, we do not transport perishable foods or items requiring
refrigeration:
● Fresh produce or meat
● Frozen or refrigerated goods
● Open food containers
● Items prone to mold or pests
High-Value or Personal Items:
We recommend transporting irreplaceable or highly valuable items yourself for peace of mind:
● Jewelry, watches, and cash
● Firearms and ammunition
● Legal documents (wills, deeds, titles)
● Heirlooms and sentimental items
● Family photos and personal hard drives
Open Containers or Liquids:
Movers may decline items that could leak or spill during transport:
● Open bottles of wine or liquor
● Cleaning supplies with broken seals
● Shampoos, detergents, or other toiletries
Live Items:
For health and safety reasons, we cannot move:
● Pets (cats, dogs, birds, etc.)
● Aquarium fish or reptiles
● Houseplants (for long-distance moves)
What You Can Do
We encourage you to:
● Transport valuables and essentials with you
● Safely dispose of hazardous materials ahead of time
